Welcome to Glow. We are committed to the absolute protection of your personal data. This Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our application and website.
A. TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED
Glow collects data to provide you with the best possible service. This data includes:
Identity Data: Full name, National ID/Citizen ID/Passport number, date of birth, gender, nationality.
Contact Information: Residential address, phone number, email address, identifiers on social media platforms.
Financial Data: Banking information, credit/debit card details, transaction history, and in-app e-wallet data.
Sensitive Personal Data (Glow Service Specifics):
Location Data: Your precise geographic location (GPS) to enable technicians to navigate and provide at-home services.
Health Data: Information regarding pain areas, allergy history, pregnancy status, or other medical notes voluntarily provided by you to ensure safety during massage treatments.
Technical Data: IP address, device type, operating system, cookies, and app usage behavior data.
B. PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING
We process your data for the following purposes:
Service Operation: Order confirmation, dispatching technicians to your exact location, processing payments, and refunds.
Customer Support: Responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, and handling feedback.
Security and Legal: Detecting and preventing fraudulent activities and misuse (such as prostitution or illicit dating) and complying with legal obligations.
Service Improvement: Analyzing needs and preferences to develop suitable massage/spa service packages.
Marketing: Sending promotional programs and exclusive offers (subject to your consent).
C. THIRD-PARTY SHARING AND CROSS-BORDER DATA TRANSFER
Third-Party Sharing: Glow does not sell your data. We only share necessary information with:
Technicians directly performing the order (sharing only name, phone number, and location).
Payment partners, shipping units, or insurance companies in the event of an incident.
Competent state authorities when required by law.
Cross-Border Data Transfer: To facilitate system operations and expand services (e.g., in the Philippines, Thailand), your data may be stored on international cloud servers or processed by Glow branches abroad. We commit that all data recipients must comply with strict security standards as prescribed by law.
D. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
In accordance with current legal regulations, you have the following 11 fundamental rights:
Right to be Informed: To know about the processing activities of your personal data.
Right to Consent: To voluntarily agree or disagree to the processing of your data.
Right of Access: To view, edit, or request a copy of your personal data.
Right to Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw your permission for data processing at any time.
Right to Erasure: To request the deletion of your personal data (when no longer using the service).
Right to Restrict Processing: To request that we stop using your data for certain purposes.
Right to Data Portability: To request that Glow provide your data to you.
Right to Object to Processing: To object to data processing to prevent adverse consequences.
Right to Complain, Denounce, and Lawsuit.
Right to Claim Damages.
Right to Self-Protection.
Note: You have the obligation to protect your own personal data and provide accurate information to Glow.
E. MECHANISM FOR EXERCISING RIGHTS AND WITHDRAWING CONSENT
You may exercise the above rights by:
Submitting a written request to the email: support@glowvietnam.com.
Glow commits to processing your requests (access, modification, deletion of data) within 72 working hours.
F. DATA SECURITY AND RETENTION
Security Measures: We implement end-to-end encryption, firewalls, and strict internal access control measures to protect data, especially location and health data.
Retention Period: Data will be stored until the processing purpose is completed or until you request its deletion, except where law requires a longer retention period (e.g., accounting or tax data).
G. CHILDREN
Glow’s services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will proceed to delete it immediately.
